The Museum’s school tour program is accessible to all students K-12.

Tour curriculum is developed to build engagement, historical knowledge, and spark an appreciation towards artistic self-expression through the life and work of Georgia O’Keeffe.

Booking Guidelines

  • School tours can be reserved Monday–Friday, from 9 AM to 10 AM year-round.
  • To book a guided tour, at least 3 weeks of advance notice is required.
  • If your group total is 8 people or smaller, you may request a tour or a self-guided visit during open Museum hours (10 AM–3 PM) Monday–Friday.
  • The maximum group capacity for an educational tour is 55 total people (including both students and chaperones).

Pricing

  • All admission and tour fees are waived for New Mexico schools in grades Pre-K
    through 12th and college level.
  • Admission and tour fees for out-of-state schools are priced at $5 per student,
    with the first two teachers/chaperones free. After the first two, teachers/chaperones are priced at $5 per person.

Additional Information

  • Tours are approximately 1 hour for grades 5th–12th, and 30–45 minutes for grades Pre-K through 4th. Art activities are approximately 30–45 minutes.
  • There must be one chaperone per 10 students for grades Pre-K through 12th.
  • Transportation is currently not available.
