The Museum’s school tour program is accessible to all students K-12.

Tour curriculum is developed to build engagement, historical knowledge, and spark an appreciation towards artistic self-expression through the life and work of Georgia O’Keeffe. In addition to the tour, The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Education Department can provide your group with an in-gallery art activity or a post-tour in-class art activity, which is completed back in the classroom.

How it Works

Tours are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. There must be one chaperone per 10 students for grades K – 12. Guided school tours can be reserved Monday – Friday, from 9 AM to 10 AM. Tours are given during closed public hours, meaning your school group will be experiencing a one-of-a-kind private tour with no other guests around. If your group is smaller than 20 students, and you would like to reserve a tour during open Museum hours, please let us know using the request form below. Three weeks’ advanced reservation is required. Request a Museum tour for your students using the form below. Once your request is submitted, we will review your submission and contact you within 3–5 business days.

Self-guided tours are available for small groups of students in grades 7 – 12.

Guided school tours can be reserved on Monday – Friday, from 9 AM to 10 AM, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 4 PM.
