Request a School Tour
The Museum’s school tour program is accessible to all students K-12.
Tour curriculum is developed to build engagement, historical knowledge, and spark an appreciation towards artistic self-expression through the life and work of Georgia O’Keeffe. In addition to the tour, The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Education Department can provide your group with an in-gallery art activity or a post-tour in-class art activity, which is completed back in the classroom.
How it Works
From April to October, school tours can be reserved only on Monday – Friday, from 9AM to 10AM. If your group is smaller than 10 students, you may request a tour during open Museum hours, Monday through Friday, 10AM – 5PM. Self-guided tours are available for small groups of students (10 or less) in grades 7 – 12 upon request. Admission and tour fees are waived for all educational groups K-12.
Educational gallery tours are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour for 5th grade – 12th grade, and 30 to 45 minutes for Kindergarten – 4th grade. There must be one chaperone per 10 students for grades K – 12. Post-tour art activities are available upon request, and typically last 30 to 45 minutes. Three weeks advanced reservation is required. You can request a Museum tour for your students using the form below. Once your request is submitted, we will review your submission and contact you within 3–5 business days.
