Georgia O’Keeffe famously kept Chow dogs after moving to New Mexico, and her love for her pets is well-documented in the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Library & Archive. About the Speaker:

Bonnie Steward joined the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in 2023.
As the Librarian, she manages the day-to-day operations and activities of the Museum Library, including overseeing cataloging and circulation, reference and public services, and collection preservation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and a master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Professionally, Bonnie aspires to dedicate her work to preserving material culture as a foundation for strength and resilience in communities.
