Family Fun Day: Make Your Mark!

  • Sunday, December 11
  • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM MT
  • Santa Fe, NM

Family Fun Day events are free to all families! Participating families will also receive free entry to the museum after checking in at the Education Annex

What does it mean to be a maker? What are ways in which we “make” and “create” in our day-to-day lives? Join us for a day full of diving into the art of creation – through hands-on activities exploring fashion, cooking, and art, you too can become a “maker” like Georgia O’Keeffe! This month, special guests from the Santa Fe Public Library return to lead story time in the garden, and friends from the Santa Fe Children’s Museum are also back for more artmaking. Families can also enjoy special access to our brand-new exhibition, ‘Georgia O’Keeffe: Making A Life.’

This event is free to all families and participating families will receive a pass for free admission to the museum!

Family Fun Day will be held across the entire Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Campus. Please visit us first in the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Education Annex (located at 123 Grant Ave) when you arrive to receive your pass for museum entry, campus map, and schedule of activities for the day.

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is proud to introduce Family Fun Day: occurring on the second Sunday of every month, this event aims to bring the community together through hands-on artmaking and storytelling, as well as encouraging kids and families to take a new approach in looking at and interacting with art. Family Fun Day is offered in partnership with the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and Santa Fe Public Libraries.
