Interested in stopping by for Family Day? RSVP ahead of time!

In celebration of New Mexico’s biggest festival—Balloon Fiesta—October Family Day will be taking a look at Georgia O’Keeffe’s lifelong fascination with the big, blue New Mexico sky. From perspective drawings inspired from inside a plane, to looking at the sky through her pelvis bone series, join us to explore the magic behind O’Keeffe’s love for the world found above the clouds.

Planning to stop by for Family Day? RSVP ahead of time! While registration is not mandatory to attend, registering ahead of time helps us prepare. Thank you for helping us out!

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is proud to offer Family Day! Occurring on the second Sunday of every month, this event aims to bring the community together through hands-on artmaking, storytelling, and creative activities, as well as encouraging kids and families to take a new approach in looking at and interacting with art! Family Day is a free event offered in partnership with the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and Santa Fe Public Libraries.

Museum admission is free all day for New Mexico residents and Family Day Participants.
