Join us for part two of creating your very own three-dimensional masterpiece!

In honor of our special exhibition, Rooted in Place, join experienced artist Christina Kortz in creating a three-dimensional landscape painting inspired by your favorite natural scenery. This workshop is part two of a special two-part series wherein kids and families will create a three-dimensional background to complete their landscape. Families who did not join the first part of this workshop are more than welcome to join us for part two!

Christina Kortz has been with the O’Keeffe Museum since the year 2000. She began as an Education Coordinator and Family Programs Manager, and now works as a Museum Educator and Gallery Guide. Christina is an experienced arts educator, illustrator, fashion stylist, and dancer.

Upcoming Events

Large pinkish/orange shell that dominates most of the canvas, with a much smaller shell beside it on the lower left. Both are oval in shape and open to their undersides, exposing the dark glossy pink of the inside of a shell. They are nestled on a white cloth or tissue paper that has folds suggesting a depth, as if the objects are in a box. The larger shell is chipped on it's upper left tip.
