Join us for a free community textile and story-sharing workshop!

Join us for a free community textile and audio story-sharing workshop with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Mobile Artist in Residence, Kieran Sequoia!

A Powerful Place invites participants across Santa Fe/O’ga P’ogeh Owingeh and surrounding areas to create 9×9-inch textile squares as part of a larger piece. Each square is inspired by the landscapes, weather, and personal symbolism to tell the visual story of the place that has made participants feel most powerful. Alongside their visual representation, participants will have the opportunity to record a three-minute audio story of their most powerful place.
