Join us to celebrate the art, culture, and landscapes of the Tewa people.

Join us for a very special Family Day celebrating the opening of our upcoming exhibition— Tewa Nangeh/Tewa Country. honors Tewa people, art, culture, and landscapes, while drawing awareness to the erasure of the Tewa presence from the story of Georgia O’Keeffe in Northern New Mexico. Through hands-on artmaking, story time, and cultural exchange, learn more about the past, present, and future of Tewa land and how we can come together as a community to preserve the place that has captivated and inspired artists for centuries.

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is proud to offer Family Day! Occurring on the second Sunday of every month, this event aims to bring the community together through hands-on artmaking, storytelling, and creative activities, as well as encouraging kids and families to take a new approach in looking at and interacting with art! Family Day is a free event offered in partnership with the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and Santa Fe Public Libraries.

Museum admission is free all day for New Mexico residents and Family Day Participants.
