Family Day: Dig Deeper!

  • Sunday, April 13
  • 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM MT
  • 217 JOHNSON STREET, SANTA FE, NM

Explore the world of dinosaurs!

Did you know that millions of years ago New Mexico was home to many species of dinosaurs? Even today, paleontologists are working hard to discover dinosaur fossils in our deserts every day! But what does it take to discover a fossil? How are fossils preserved? What fossilized dinosaur did Georgia O’Keeffe have named after her, and what did it look like? Join us to explore the art behind the dig! With a variety of hands-on artmaking, storytime, and creative activities, the whole family can learn about life in New Mexico millions of years ago.

Planning to stop by for Family Day? RSVP ahead of time! While registration is not mandatory to attend, registering ahead of time helps us prepare. Thank you for helping us out!
