Crochet your own holiday stocking!

Enjoy a relaxing day of creativity and crocheting with artist Jenesis Barela. Inspired by the joy of handmade gifts, participants will learn step by step how to create a colorful crochet stocking. This workshop is designed for all experience levels, from those new to crochet to advanced makers looking to expand their skills.

Throughout the session, Jenesis will guide participants through fundamental techniques while encouraging individual creativity and expression. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have completed a unique stocking that will be perfect for holiday decor or a handmade gift.

Supplies for this class are included. This class is suitable for youth ages 10 and up. Please bring snacks and a water bottle—the Welcome Center has a filling station.

About the Instructor:

Jenesis Barela is a 17-year-old crochet artist with two years of experience. Passionate about both learning and teaching, she shares her love of fiber arts as a fashion design teaching assistant at Moving Arts Española. Jenesis brings creativity, and enthusiasm to every class, and aims to help students discover the joy and relaxation that crochet can bring.
