Conversation with Co-Author: Georgia O’Keeffe and Her Houses
Agapita (Pita) Judy Lopez first started working as a companion to Georgia O’Keeffe in 1974 when she was 17, and worked for her for ten years. She is currently the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Director of Historic Properties. Join Pita and host Mara Harris in conversation about Georgia O’Keeffe’s home in Abiquiu, how Miss O’Keeffe lived, and how her house became an integral part of the artist’s distinctive, iconic style. We will also discuss the book, Georgia O’Keeffe and Her Houses, co-authored by Pita Lopez and available in the Museum Store.
