First Friday

  • Friday, October 6
  • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM MT
  • Santa Fe, NM

Prepare for the eclipse and enjoy extended hours and free admission from 5-7 PM!

Santa Fe has the best seat in the house for the upcoming annular solar eclipse. Get prepared at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum by creating O’Keeffe-inspired eclipse viewing glasses. Guests are invited to take blank viewing glasses and create O’Keeffe-inspired specs so they can “take time to look,” as the artist encouraged. Free spotlight tours of O’Keeffe’s works featuring the moon and night skies will also be offered in the galleries from 5 – 7 PM.

Viewing glasses are available for the first 250 visitors while supplies last.

Admission is free for New Mexico residents all day and free for all from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM!
