In this class, learn the key concepts behind clean and clear color mixing in watercolor through hands-on exercises.

A longtime educator in the field of color theory, teaching artist Sudeshna Sengupta will break down mixing fundamentals by positioning paints in a color wheel with cyan, magenta, and yellow as primaries. Using this arrangement for the palette, you will learn how to make informed decisions to achieve predictable watercolor mixes that are rich, vibrant, and transparent. All supplies included.

This class is suitable for youth ages 12 and up. Children are welcome to participate alongside their adults.

This class will meet at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Creativity Studio, located on the corner of Marcy Street and Grant Avenue, Santa Fe, NM. Registrants will be notified 24 hours in advance if the lesson is to be canceled.
