Fine Art Friday at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum: “All The Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins”

  • Friday, October 2
  • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM MT
  • 1050 OLD PECOS TRAIL, SANTA FE, NM.

Create a polka dot pumpkin masterpiece!

Join us to celebrate the pumpkin season by creating your very own dotted pumpkin from cardboard and paint, inspired by Yayoi Kusama!

Yayoi Kusama is a contemporary artist best known for her love of vibrant polka dots! In 1955, Kusama wrote to Georgia O’Keeffe asking for career advice. O’Keeffe responded with much encouragement, and the rest is history!

Every first Friday of the month, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum visits the Santa Fe Children’s Museum for their special Fine Art Friday event from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. For more information on Fine Art Friday, please visit the SFCM’s website.
