Join us as we explore watercolor techniques utilized to paint mini natural landscapes of the southwest. In this intermediate painter-level course, we will walk you through color matching, highlighting, shading, and detailing smaller-sized works depicting scenes of O’Keeffe’s most loved areas of New Mexico. In the first hour, participants will be shown an O’Keeffe-inspired landscape painting by the instructor with tips and guidance for working both in small format and with watercolor detail. In the second hour, participants will be given the opportunity to an open studio working experience to either begin a landscape of personal choice or to further develop the example provided by the instructor. Devon will be available for small windows of instruction to guide your work and provide feedback.

This class is suitable for youth ages 12 and up. Children are welcome to participate alongside their adults.

Space is limited, reservations required.
