For June’s Mornings with O’Keeffe program, join the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Assistant Librarian & Preservation Specialist, Bonnie Steward as she shares about the ongoing project to move Georgia O’Keeffe’s personal book collection from the Home & Studio in Abiquiú to the Library & Archive in Santa Fe.

About the Speaker


Bonnie Steward
joined the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in 2023 as Assistant Librarian and Preservation Specialist. She is responsible for supporting staff and public research, maintaining the library catalog, and preserving Georgia O’Keeffe’s personal libraries, including assisting in disaster planning. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from St. Olaf College and a graduate degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Through her work at the O’Keeffe, Bonnie hopes to contribute to efforts to build risk-resilient communities by preserving and protecting cultural heritage.
