Description
High above the earth on her travels by air, O’Keeffe looked down on the clouds and turned them into her Sky Above Clouds series. Made in collaboration with CLED and the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, this icy, matte cloud is crafted from recycled bottle glass and carries a piece of that view with you.
Founded by designer Seulye Jo, the Los Angeles–based brand CLED turns discarded glass bottles into jewelry. Each glass gem is cut, melted, and polished by hand in its Los Angeles studio. In CLED’s work, bottles that might have been thrown away get a second life as something beautiful and lasting.
