Description
Ladders were part of daily life at O’Keeffe’s New Mexico homes, and one floats against the evening sky in her painting Ladder to the Moon. Made in collaboration with CLED and the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, this amber glass ladder is crafted from recycled bottle glass.
Founded by designer Seulye Jo, the Los Angeles–based brand CLED turns discarded glass bottles into jewelry. Each glass gem is cut, melted, and polished by hand in its Los Angeles studio. In CLED’s work, bottles that might have been thrown away get a second life as something beautiful and lasting.
