  • Delays and unexpected challenges are common in projects of this scope. While we have done our best to limit the amount of time we are closed and schedule accordingly, we hesitate to announce a full opening date because the roof repairs are extensive. The Museum will take all necessary steps to complete the roof work as thoroughly as possible as it is vital to protecting O’Keeffe’s artwork.

  • The New Mexico Museum of Art is within walking distance of the Museum and has O’Keeffe artwork on display as well as a sculpture by O’Keeffe in its courtyard.

Santa Fe is home to 200 art galleries, all of which offer unique perspectives in art. Canyon Road, Historic Downtown Santa Fe and Museum Hill are popular for art gazing.

About an hour drive from Santa Fe, visit the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Welcome Center. Our partners at Ghost Ranch provide hiking trails and special tours in the area where Georgia O’Keeffe lived and worked.

  • At this time, we have refrained from releasing advanced tickets during the anticipated project completion window in the event of any delays. We will update our website and release tickets as the roof work progresses. If you’d like to be notified when the March 7 – March 22 tickets are released, please contact our Visitor Services team and ask to be put on the email notification list at 505-946-1000 or contact@gokm.org
