Relief Printing

Relief is a technique used to create a print from an image made as a raised surface. Students will create an image by printing a Styrofoam relief design. A discussion to develop ideas about imagery will be fol-lowed by this simple process for printmaking without a press. LED BY TARA SANTINI, visual artist.

All Family Programs are FREE and begin at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, 217 Johnson Street. Programs are for children ages 4–12, accompanied by an adult, and are led by education staff unless  otherwise noted.
