How do I purchase a membership?
You can purchase a membership online, in person at the Museum, or over the phone at 505.946.1022.
How do I renew my membership?
To renew your membership, you can login to your account on our website and renew, visit the museum and renew in person, or give us a call at 505.946.1022.
If I’m already a Member or a registered user, how do I login to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Online?
Please visit here to access your account with the Museum.
What if I forgot my username and/or password?
Not a problem—it happens to the best of us! Please click the “Forgotten Password” link on the login page. It will ask you for your email address. An email will be sent with your username and a link to reset your password.
How long will it take for my membership cards to arrive?
Please allow 1-2 weeks for your cards to arrive.
Where can I find a list of reciprocal museums?
Please click here for a full list of reciprocal museums. The list is updated quarterly.
What if I want to visit the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum or a reciprocal museum before my cards arrive?
Once your membership application is processed, your membership will be active in our database, even if your membership cards haven’t arrived. Simply bring a photo ID when you visit the Museum, and we will look up your account.
Reciprocal museums do not have access to your membership information. If you have purchased a membership at the Supporter level or above and are going to visit a reciprocal museum, please call our Membership Desk at 505.946.1022 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can provide confirmation of your Georgia O’Keeffe Museum membership to show at other museums.
Will I receive the same benefits at reciprocal museums as I do at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum?
Each museum sets its own policies. We recommend calling your desired museum(s) ahead of time to confirm the number of free or discounted admissions.
I am a member of a reciprocal museum. What member benefits can I expect when I visit the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum?
We’re happy you’ve decided to visit the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and your admission is on us! All other benefits are reserved for members of the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum.
How many names can I have on my membership?
Individual level allows one person per membership. Household level and above allow two people per membership.
I need a new set of membership cards. What can I do?
Give us a call at 505.946.1022 or email us at email@example.com, and we’ll put some replacement cards in the mail for you pronto! Replacement cards are free of charge.
I’m a member and would like to book a tour of the Home & Studio in Abiquiu—is there a discount? How do I make a reservation?
Yes! There is a $5 discount for members on Standard Tours. Unfortunately there is no discount for Behind the Scenes tours. Reservations can be made online here: https://connect.okeeffemuseum.org/abiquiu-tours
**Please note that the Membership Office cannot take reservations at this time. Please call the Museum’s Reservation Hotline at 505.946.1000 to schedule your tour of the Home & Studio.
I’m a member and would like to attend an Education program at the museum—is there a discount? How do I make a reservation?
Members often receive discounts on our Education programs—please check our Education brochure for exact prices, or visit the Education page of our website here for a full listing and prices. You can also make reservations on the site. Alternatively, please give our Education Office a call to make a reservation for any program. They can be reached at 505.946.1007.
I’d like to upgrade my membership, but I still have some time left before my current membership expires.
No problem. We’d be happy to upgrade your membership and extend the expiration a year from the date of the upgrade! You only need to pay the difference between your original membership cost and the cost of the upgrade. This is only applicable for memberships that are not up for renewal (at least four months prior to expiration).
If I join at the museum, will my ticket price for the day be applied to the cost of the membership?
Yes, the cost of your admission on the same day may be applied towards a new membership. A Visitor Services Assistant at the front desk can do this for you.
Is my membership tax-deductible?
All memberships up to the Supporter level are fully tax deductible. Memberships at the Supporter level and up are only partially tax-deductible. Please contact the Membership Office at 505.946.1022 or firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about a specific level. Upon purchasing a membership, we will send you a letter with tax receipt language for your filing purposes.
