The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is proud to announce the winners of our first annual Photography Competition!

Our 2012 competition and its theme, “Flowers,” paid homage to Georgia O’Keeffe and one of her frequent subjects on the 125th anniversary of her birth.  These winning photographs were chosen in January, 2013, by our esteemed panel of judges; Jennifer Schlesinger-Hanson, Director, VERVE Gallery of Photography; Jackie M, Director of Education and Public Programs, Georgia O’Keeffe Museum;  Mary Anne Redding, Chair, Photography Department, Santa Fe University of Art and Design; Joyce Tenneson, photographer; and Norman Vanamee, Editor-in-Chief, Garden Design Magazine. Images were reviewed electronically, anonymously, and separately by all judges with ratings that automatically selected the prize winners and honorable mentions. Winners were selected from among 3,830 images, by 930 photographers, from 47 states and 17 countries.

We extend our thanks to all who participated and offer our very sincere congratulations to our winners.
