Youth Programs

In addition to school tours and lessons, afterschool programs, and the Art and Leadership Programs, a variety of youth programs take place throughout the year.

EXHIBITIONS AT THE ANNEX offer young persons the chance to see their work professionally installed in a gallery setting. Museum professionals teach participants how to install a show while the education staff assists in giving students a valuable learning experience on exhibiting their artworks.

The Education Annex hosts special events and activities for youth in conjunction with various Santa Fe organizations including the Santa Fe Institute, and Santa Fe Science Alliance’s SCIENCE CAFÉ. The evening program for teens, their families, and teachers presents leading scientific thinkers conducting informal discussions on their research geared towards youth.

Other youth related events such as CAREERS IN THE ARTS DAYS are held at school sites and recreation centers.
