Conservation Mission
The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and Research Center will become the primary source for scientific and scholarly information concerning the artistic legacy of Georgia O’Keeffe and the preservation of her art, archives, homes and personal collections. The mission of the Conservation program is to elevate the profile of our conservation and preservation achievements to significant supporters, museum partners and the preservation community, thus earning their sustained recognition and support.

O'Keeffe Museum Imaging Project
Using digital imaging to preserve our cultural heritage

Thanks to the generous financial support of the National Center For Preservation Technology and Training (http://ncptt.nps.gov/), The Stockman Family Foundation and New Mexico AmeriCorps Cultural Technology community service program, the O’Keeffe Imaging project team was able to test three, exciting, new technologies in “Computational Imaging” over the Summer of 2012. You can follow the O'Keeffe Imaging Project’s progress on their website where they are recording their process and making the outcomes of their research available to the public and conservation professionals in real-time.
